Smooth, Durable Asphalt Done Right the First Time

Looking good is a bonus — the real job is protection. A fresh sealcoat blocks the UV, water, and oil that dry out and crack asphalt. Skip it and your surface ages two to three times faster.

A crack is an open door for water. It seeps under the surface, washes out the base, and in our heat-and-rain cycles that's exactly how potholes and full failures start. Sealing it early costs a fraction of the repair.

The part that fails is the part you can't see. A lowball bid usually means a thin layer over a weak base. Two driveways can look identical on day one — and one's cracking in a year. Base prep and thickness are the whole ballgame.

Asphalt naturally fades to gray as the sun oxidizes it — that's normal, not a defect or bad work. It's the reason sealcoating exists: to slow that oxidation down and bring the deep black back.

Sometimes an overlay is the right call — but only over a sound base. Pave over a failing surface and you're just hiding the problem until it cracks through the new layer. Prep it right, pave it once.

Pavement lasts decades with a little upkeep — or a handful of years without it. Seal it every few years and fill cracks as they show, and you protect the investment instead of paying to replace it.
